Living In Submission To God

October 15, 2025

Submission is a deeply moving expression on this earth where a woman remembers the gift of resting in her natural energetic design.

Submission to God

Welcome to Part I of a three part series. This series is all about deepening into the foundational pillars of the descended woman concept. In case you missed it, I recommend starting with last weeks post which acts as an introduction for this three part series.

The nature of the blog posts up until this point may seem a little methodical and it is for good reason. I am guided to create a very strong foundation energetically and conceptually to support both myself and those reading. The next three posts will invite new depth into this way of being and help you identify if the path of faith and feminine restoration is for you.

There will be a point in time where I will speak more directly to my own faith and share the metamorphosis it has gone through over the past sixteen years. This is important for clarity and integrity of writings. But for now, let these ideas rest in your body, heart and womb in whatever way feels right for you.

Feminine Energy Submission

Submission is the rightful energetic state for a woman. I consider it every woman’s birthright to live and breath in this luscious, restful, provided for place of receptivity. Granted, it doesn’t always feel good (hello every emotion you have been avoiding feeling!) but it always feels correct because you are being with the truth of your body in any given moment.

Submission is not something you can force your body into. If you are attempting to push yourself into a submissive state what you are actually doing is mentally contorting yourself into an idea of what you think submission should look like (you are invoking your masculine energy and imposing it on your experience). The body holds the key to submission, not the mind and the body will only soften and open when it feels safe.

So, assuming you are in a safe space while reading this blog go ahead and give yourself permission to unwind your grip on life. Give your mind a break and return your attention to the body. Relax your muscles; everything from the top of your scalp down to your toes. Let yourself connect with the current of life that’s pulsing within. Allow your body to rest in the presence of the moment. This is what submission feels like. There is nowhere to go, nothing to be or do other than to receive these words.

The remainder of this blog post will delve into the relationship between a woman and the divine intelligence which I call God. The depth at which you are able to receive God into your being is equal to the depth at which you can experience submission as a way of being. If it feels right for you, allow God to work these concepts into your being in whatever way reflects your highest good.

Feminine Remembrance

1. Admitting your dependence on God.

Woman are taught from a young age the importance of independence. It has been so drilled into us to grow up and be ‘strong and independent’ that to consider any other way of being feels wrong. But the real travesty is that in this hyper independence woman are denying themselves their birthright. You were never designed to walk this life alone, carrying everything, thinking your way through life’s problems. You were always meant to be walking with the most high; feeling cherished, held and supported as you experience life’s joys and storms. Admitting dependence can be very challenging for women. It can feel wrong, scary, vulnerable even violating depending on the trauma she has experienced. But the step of admitting dependence is incredibly important because it allows for control mechanisms to be released from the tissues of the body on a very deep level. As the need to control softens, the body recognizes safety and submission becomes a natural biproduct. This is what it means to return to the ‘natural feminine design’. Fear is replaced with trust. Control is replaced with submission.

2. God’s understanding trumps your own.

Admitting dependence on God is made easier when you come to know God has greater understanding of everything. Everything you think you know; God knows it better. God can see where you can’t. God can orchestrate things you wouldn’t even be able to think up. God will always use your mistakes for the highest good. Why then, do women continue to rely solely on their own understanding? Overthinking, strategizing, controlling, planning and pushing their own will out into the world. It’s exhausting (said from experience). Admitting that you are not the smartest thing to ever exist is quite refreshing. Admitting that maybe your assumptions, judgements, ideas, plans, goals and outlook just might be slightly distorted compared to the intelligence that created you. It is possible that allowing God’s understanding to trump your own would give your body enough space to soften. In that softening, you will find safety and in that newfound safety submission will follow.

3. God shows up for the walk.

To understand submission as an ongoing way of being is to understand that God shows up for the walk. Meaning, God’s back never turns on a woman but she may turn her back on God. The love, provision, guidance and assurance that is available every moment of every day is immoveable and unchangeable. That means it is ultimately your choice whether you choose to embrace a life of submission or control and to what degree. You can call out to God every now and again for help in a state of despair (and be upset if you don’t hear an answer). Alternatively, you can choose the walk. You can choose the ongoing relationship of revealing more and more of yourself to God in reverence of your feminine design and who you were created to be. Imagine if the amount of time you currently spend thinking, planning, worrying, controlling, strategizing, ruminating etc. is instead used to create or deepen your relationship with the Divine Intelligence. That in every moment you are charging through life, pushing on to the next thing, you instead share it with God. In every emotion you feel rise to the surface you give voice to and allow God to witness you instead of suppressing the sensation. Just consider for a moment how that might feel…to be in deep submission to the currents of life moving through you and offering that energy to God.

Submission is a deeply moving expression on this earth where a woman remembers the gift of resting in her natural energetic design. Submission does not mean your life is void of effort, action or outward expenditure of energy. It is a posture that allows you to be held and witnessed in your fullness while navigating life under higher order. It is a way of offering your vessel, energy and attention back to the intelligence that created you in gratitude and trust for what He will do with that energy in your life.

For anyone looking to share or reflect, I would love to hear what submission brings up for you. How does your body feel reading about submission as a way of being?
